College Corps at LBCC
Long Beach City College is proud to launch its first cohort of College Corps Fellows.
College Corps is a California Governor’s Initiative administered by California Volunteers in partnership with colleges and universities committed to civic and community engagement. The program is building the next generation of civic leaders by connecting students with meaningful community service opportunities that strengthen leadership skills, expand career pathways, and help reduce college debt.
College Corps Fellows will have the opportunity to:

Earn up to $10,000 in financial support
Receive living stipends and education awards to help support your academic and career goals. -
Gain hands-on professional experience
Support the work of government agencies and nonprofit organizations focused on Climate Action, K-12 Education, and Food Insecurity. -
Complete 450 hours of meaningful
service
Develop leadership skills, strengthen civic engagement, and gain valuable real-world experience that prepares you for your future career.
