A few reminders regarding Commencement:

• Graduation is a paid day of service to the District. Faculty members are required to participate in the graduation ceremony to be paid for this day of service, unless the faculty member is absent due to illness or has a pre-approved absence.
• Managers are welcome to participate, as are classified staff with manager approval.
• On behalf of the Commencement Committee, we ask that if you are planning to walk in your Graduation Regalia in the Ceremony on June 6, please RSVP by Tues., May 28 so that we have a correct chair count on the field. This invitation includes all faculty, classified professionals, and managers.
