LBCC Alumna Leslie Perovich is the chief operating officer of Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine.   She has used the forced closures of the past year to “make lemons into lemonade” by adding exhibits and retrofitting the 28,000-square-foot facility to meet COVID-19 protocols. The Orange County Register talks about  Pretend City’s reopening on  March 27 with new exhibits and pandemic lessons learned.
