It is with incredible enthusiasm we share the news of our partnership with the Grand Prix Foundation of Long Beach! An exceptional organization supporting LBCC’s Career Technical Education (CTE) department, what could be better?

This year, CTE became an Official Sponsor of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. LBCC’s sponsorship included: a booth at the Lifestyle Expo, tickets, banners on overhead bridges and in the grandstands, signage along the track and at the Expo, video board advertisements, PA announcements, inclusion in the race program and other publications. All of this was prominently featured in the national and international media coverage, providing incredible reach for showcasing LBCC and the CTE programs offered. These programs include Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, Welding, Fashion Design and Cyber Security. Originally expecting 180,000 visitors to attend the April 8-10 event, the Grand Prix exceeded pre-pandemic numbers to reach 187,000 in attendance.

The Grand Prix Foundation of Long Beach was incorporated in January of 1991 as a 501 (c)(3) publicly supported organization whose purpose is to raise funds, through a series of charitable events held in conjunction with the annual Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
