The Long Beach City College Foundation is proud to announce the new recognition program for donors – thee Viking Recognition Society.

The LBCC Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money to support the students and staff and to enhance the learning environment of the Long Beach Community College District. The LBCC Foundation fulfills this mission by providing funding for scholarships, programs, capital projects, and the emerging needs of our students.

“It is with the meaningful support of the Viking community that LBCC is able to make strides in providing an equitable education for all,” said program creator Tanya Adolph. “Each donor should take pride in the long-lasting and positive change higher education makes for students and their families.”

To commemorate the generosity of its supporters, the LBCC Foundation has adopted the following recognition levels. Additional benefits associated with these giving levels are outlined in the Foundation’s Viking Recognition Society brochures. 

• Vanguard:                           $1,000 Annual Gift
• Steward:                             $2,500 Annual Gift
• Guardian:                            $5,000 Annual Gift
• Champion:                          $10,000 Annual Gift
• Visionary:                            $25,000 Annual Gift
