The LBCC Art Gallery proudly presents Satellites a dynamic showcase of LBCC Adjunct faculty from the School of Visual, Media Arts and Performing Arts. This diverse exhibition features works by teaching artists across a wide range of disciplines—including photography, jewelry and metalsmithing, graphic design, media arts, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, painting, ceramics, scenic arts and costume design. Together, these pieces celebrate the rich artistic voices shaping our classrooms and inspiring the next generation of creators.

Exhibition date: Nov 6th to Dec 10, 2025

Opening reception: Thurs, Nov 6th, 2025 from 5-7pm

Artist talk: Saturday, Nov 15th, 2025 from 1-3pm

Join us for a Saturday afternoon full of creativity, crafting, snacks, and fun at the Bobbie Smith Library, L-Bldg, 1st Floor, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The first session features Día de los Muertos Textured Art. Hosted by Librarian Shamika Simpson, this event is part of the Crafting for Mental Health Series taking place throughout the school year. First come, first served, while supplies last!

Meet at the decorated box in the V Building, between the Bakery/Bistro and the Math Success Center, to begin a tour featuring the artists and collaborators, a stamp rally and refreshments along the way! The ITS Department has launched an updated Phone Directory on the LBCC website. All employees are encouraged to review and update their individual Directory Profile. You can make changes through the HR Employee System under the Personal Details tile. Step-by-step instructions are available on the Launch site here. In addition to individual listings, the directory includes department contact information. Please review your department’s listing in the current directory.
