Since its incorporation in January of 1991 as a 501©3 publicly supported organization, the Grand Prix Foundation has had as its purpose, to raise funds through a series of charitable events held in conjunction with the annual Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Trustee Uduak-Joe Ntuk proudly represents Uptown Long Beach on the Long Beach Community College Board of Trustees. Elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, he is the first African-American male elected to serve in this capacity since the college’s founding in 1927.
