Diep Burbridge
Associate Professor, Life Sciences
Prof. Burbridge has been at LBCC since 2007 and loves her job of teaching and interacting with her students. The best part of her job is getting to know her students individually, helping them to progress and succeed academically, and being able to keep in touch with many of them long after they graduate from LBCC. She has degrees in Computer Science from CSU Fullerton and Biology from Cal Poly Pomona. Her graduate research study was to investigate the role of cannabis compounds and their bindings to the CB2 cannabinoid receptor in modulating T and B cell immune activities. She is currently pursuing graduate studies to learn more about higher education issues pertaining to student equity and success at the community college level.
