Eli Daughdrill makes small intimate films about the misalignments of the American Identity. His feature film “Faith” premiered at the Indie Memphis Film Festival and was picked up for distribution by Vertical Entertainment. Film Threat called the film a “purposefully languid, melancholic treatise on faith” that is “so assured and atmospheric” with a “powerhouse central turn by Brian Geraghty. “Faith” is available via a variety of streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Tubi, and various others. His documentary “Jonas”, which details his brother’s struggles with schizophrenia, is also available on Prime.

In addition, he has written and directed several short films that are available on various platforms online. He is currently working on a couple of new feature projects, one of which is expected to go into production the Summer of 2026.

Daughdrill earned an MFA in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University and a BA in Cinema Studies from San Francisco State University. He teaches film production courses at LBCC and believes the only way to learn how to make films is to make them.
