I have been teaching a variety of courses in the Communication Studies Department at Long Beach City College since 1996.  Ultimately, our courses offer a thorough examination of how better communication can improve the quality of our relationships and our communities.  Our classes are experiential, supportive and stimulating. Each semester, we embark upon a journey of growth and greater understanding of the world around us. I encourage students to find inspiration in speech writers, theorists, poets, novelists, and each other as they embrace their ‘one precious life’ and I am privileged to teach at LBCC as part of a team that helps this amazing student body flourish.
