I am an Assistant Professor in the Computer and Office Studies (COS) department at Long Beach City College. Currently, I teach Application (COSA), Business Communications (BCOM) and Keyboarding (COSK) courses; both on campus and online.  I have been teaching at the college level for over 6 years, I have learned many invaluable lessons in student learning. According to students, their sense of belonging is fostered by an instructor’s soft skills; their warmth and openness, encouragement of student participation, enthusiasm, friendliness and helpfulness, and overall organization and preparedness for class. I have always made it my mission to encompass all those valuable components in my classroom. I consider myself one of the lucky people in the workforce that have the privilege of doing the work I am most passionate about it; which is changing lives.
