Join the LBCC Career Center for our Build Your First Resume workshop and learn how to create a strong, professional resume that highlights your skills, education, experience, and accomplishments.
This workshop is designed for students who are creating a resume for the first time, updating an existing resume, or preparing to apply for jobs, internships, and other career opportunities.

How to Prepare
If you already have a resume, feel free to bring a digital or printed copy with you. If you do not have a resume yet, that is okay. This workshop is designed to help you get started. Visit the Career Center during Tea Time on Tuesdays from 12:00 PM–2:00 PM for drop-in assistance. Students can receive support at TTC (LL-206), the LAC Career & Transfer Center (A-107), or virtually through our Career Center Virtual Lobby
Students are encouraged to think about previous employment, volunteer work, coursework, projects, leadership experiences, clubs, and other activities that demonstrate their skills and experience.
