Basic Needs Request
Formerly Known as Emergency Aid
The Basic Needs Request is designed to help students who are requesting support with food, housing, transportation, mental health, child care, and technology, to minimize the impact of a short-term, financial burden that can negatively impact their educational path at LBCC. This application will be used to make determinations about basic needs resource requests. LBCC provides the following types of support in response to your application submission: Food gift cards and free food events, Housing referrals, Mental Health support, Chromebook and hotspot loans (hotspots available to students enrolled in online-classes only).
*** The emergency aid application is available during primary terms only (Fall/Spring) and remains closed for the winter/summer intersession. It will reopen one week prior to the start of each primary term. ***
