APID Heritage Month Kickoff Event

Join the LBCC-APID Affinity Group and LBCC Executive Members as we kick off our Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi Heritage Month. This years theme is Amplification through Unification. Together, we continue to advocate for each other, stand up for each other, and ensure that we are all represented. Learn about the various resources available on campus, enjoy some food, giveaways, music, and more!
- Participants may earn flex credit for the length of each event, with a total of 6 hours maximum for multiple events.
- Presenters may earn flex credit for double the length of each event, with a total of 6 hours maximum.
LBCC APID Cultural Fashion Show
Date/Time: Wednesday, May 10, 5:30PM — 7:00PM
Location: Building E Nordic Lounge, Liberal Arts Campus
The LBCC APID and PISA student clubs have taken the lead in planning an event allowing students to showcase their cultural art through performances, clothing, and music. Students/staff/faculty will be able to bring their culture into the space and highlight their share through narrative and presence. Think fashion show with APID twist and emphasis!

Dragon Boat Racing: Honoring APID History & the Community of Dragon Boat

Location: Building E Nordic Lounge, Liberal Arts Campus
Join us to celebrate APID history and culture through the lens of dragon boating, and discover how you can become a part of this paddling community. All are invited, but we are emphasizing those who are interested in APID history and those who are interested in team sports.
