  • LBCC serves one of the largest Cambodian populations in the state. As the college has focused on degree attainment in the last five years our Cambodian degree earners have increased from 33 in 2015 to 84 in 2020. 
  • Another major Asian population served by LBCC are Filipino students. Degree attainment grew from 46 in 2015 to 88 in 2020.

  • AB705 has transformed access to our transfer level curriculum for our minority students. Over the last 10 years the percent of Cambodian and Filipino students completing transfer English within their first year has nearly quintupled increasing from 7% to 34%. In math first year completion has increased from 8% to 25%.
