Honors Benefits

Students in the Honors Program are eligible for the following:

  • Enroll in Honors classes with smaller class sizes than regular GE classes.
  • Sign up for Honors academic counseling.
  • Submit proposals for the Honors Transfer Council Student Research Conference (HTCC). Abstracts are due to the Honors Coordinator at the end of November and the conference is held in the spring.
  • Apply for Honors transfer scholarships.
  • Apply to UCLA and, if complete the Honors Program with a GPA of at least 3.5, receive priority consideration for transfer to the School of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.
  • Apply to UCI and, if complete the Honors Program with a GPA of at least 3.7, receive priority consideration for transfer to the Honors to Honors Program (Campuswide Honors Program).
  • Apply to other HTCC partner institutions and, if complete the Honors Program with a GPA of at least 3.75, receive priority consideration for transfer.
  • Request letters of recommendation from the Honors Program.
  • Study in the Honors study lounge with computers and printers.
  • Participate in The Honors Experience, the student club run by and for Honors students.
