American College Dance Association
ACDA – Each year the LBCC Dance Program invites a hand selected group of students to attend the ACDA conference. The American College Dance Association is an organization that holds a dance conference that takes place annually and offers opportunities for college and university dance programs to perform and train outside of their home institution of learning.
It is an association of students, teachers, artists and scholars that come together over a three day period in thirteen regions throughout the country. This conference gives students a wonderful opportunity to participate in workshops, panel discussions and master classes from instructors around the country. There are three magical evenings of performances where students have an opportunity to be selected to perform in a Gala at the end of the conference.
LBCC Dance Club
Dance Club is a wonderful opportunity for students that love to dance to make new friends, share ideas and DANCE! The Dance Club has a faculty sponsor for support and meets regularly throughout the semester. The club members perform on campus, in the community and for high school recruitment.
