Student Activity

The Black Elected Officials Panel will explore the realities of navigating a society filled with social/cultural norms, stereotypes, barriers, and inequities. These are authentic conversations where we get to learn from Black Elected Officials from Long Beach, as they discuss their journey to public office, the challenges of advancing racial equity, and the actions being taken to uplift Black communities. Topics include leadership, education, collaboration, and creating more opportunities for Black youth. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from those shaping the future of Long Beach!
