Kickstart your professional journey at Dreams, Legacy & Vision! Designed specifically for first-generation college students, this interactive workshop will give you the tools and confidence to navigate the professional world with resume reviews, networking tips and internship resources. 

1st Gen Luncheon

Date/Time: Tuesday, November 10, 2026, 11:00AM–2:00PM 
Location: LAC – T1200

This event is an opportunity for first-gen students to meet with professionals across different industries who were once in their shoes. Students will hear their stories, learn from their experiences, and get insight to help them on their own academic and career journey! Students will also get the chance to ask questions, connect, and build lasting networks with the panelists!

Film Screening: Carlos through the Tall Grass

Date/Time: Thursday, November 12, 2026, 5:00PM–9:00PM 
Location: LAC – Building G, Little Theatre

This event is a collaboration between TRIO Upward Bound, Student Equity and Visual, Performing Arts & Cultural Programs. Student and faculty shorts will be shown prior to the feature film: Carlos Through the Tall Grass, the story of a brilliant young man who can’t decide whether to go off to college due to all the people in his life who depend on him.

Priority Registration  Major Declaration Support Lab
