Are You Interested in Joining the LBCC Equity Congress?
The LBCC Equity Congress (EQC) is a leadership program that allows LBCC faculty (full-time & part-time) to delve deeper into what equity means and what it looks like. This year-long program will give participants the opportunity to connect with colleagues, learn about existing equity practices across campus and the country, and help inform what equity-rooted practices look like at LBCC.
EQC participants will also be eligible for a $1,000 completion grant if they meet the deliverables of the EQC at the end of the academic year. The EQC is open to seasoned equity champions and those new to the equity journey.
As a Congressperson, you will be expected to attend all EQC gatherings, complete assignments (reflections & readings), and showcase your learning, growth, and newly-honed knowledge and skills at the end of the spring semester.
Apply before Sept. 27. For details, and
