Staffing Determination
- Each event application will be reviewed individually, and staffing will be determined by:
- Type of event (practices vs. games)
- Indoor facility uses
- Pool usage
- Outdoor special events
- Event size (number of attendees and/or participants)
Indoor Facilities
- Custodial staff will always be scheduled post-event to clean the room.
- If custodial staff are assigned on weekends, there is a 2-hour minimum charge.
- Multiple facility use under one permit will require higher staffing levels.
- An Event Coordinator may be assigned to monitor activity if needed.
Veterans Memorial Stadium
- Minimum staffing always assigned, including:
- Event Coordinator
- Custodian
- Athletic activities and large special events require:
- Bleacher cleaning
- Parking lot sweeper post-event
- Additional external vendors may be staffed for special events, such as:
- Private security
- Long Beach Police Department
- Long Beach Fire Department
- Parking services
