Upcoming Cultural Graduation Celebrations

LBCC’s Office of Student Equity is proud to offer Cultural Graduation Celebrations to honor students’ achievements in culturally affirming and meaningful ways. These special events are in addition to the college-wide Commencement Ceremony, where degrees are officially conferred.

Mark your calendars for this year’s Cultural Graduation Celebrations:

  • Lavender (Pride) Cultural Graduation: Fri., May 9 | 5 –7 p.m. | LAC, W201
  • Native American/American Indian Cultural Celebration: Fri., May 16 | 5–7 p.m. | LAC, W201
  • Asian Pacific Islander Desi Cultural Graduation: Sat., May 17 | 9:30–11:30 a.m. | LAC, T-1200
  • Black (Black/African American) Cultural Celebration: Tues., May 21 | 5–7 p.m. | LAC, T-1200
  • RAÍCES (Latina/o/x) Cultural Celebration: Thurs., May 23 | 6–8 p.m. | LAC, T-1200
