Viking Strong: Supporting Foster Youth – Tues., May 19

This workshop is to increase student, staff, and faculty awareness and understanding of foster youth students at LBCC by reviewing campus data, highlighting common challenges these students may face, and sharing practical strategies to better support their success. The session on May 19 from 1:30pm-3:00pm at Room W201, Building W, Liberal Arts Campus, will also provide an overview of NextUp and Guardian Scholars programs and conclude with a student panel where students will share their lived experiences, perspectives, and recommendations for creating a more supportive learning environment. RSVP HERE!
