Program: Advanced Manufacturing Technology
The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Department at Long Beach City College is committed to preparing students for employment in the advanced manufacturing industry. Our program provides students with an understanding of the manufacturing industry’s requirements for employment and helps them to acquire entry-level job skills through lectures and hands-on experience. The program and instructors will be certified by the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS). Transfer to the CSU system.

How long does it take to complete the program?
Depending on the number of units you take and whether you are a full-time or part-time student, completing a certificate program can take as little as one semester, and completing an associate degree program can take about two years.
