Excellence In Online Teaching Award

This award was founded in 2015 to recognize and honor LBCC faculty members who provide innovative and exemplary practices in their online course(s), therefore increasing student equity, engagement, and success.

Selected by a committee that follows an intensive rubric and scoring criteria, faculty are nominated by their colleagues and/or self-nominated, and must complete an in-depth application. The committee scores in the following areas: Learner Support; Course Organization & Design; Communication & Collaboration; Content & Student Engagement; Assessment & Evaluation; and Faculty use of Student Feedback.
