Programs celebrated at LBCC’s Inaugural Career Technical Education Night
More than 600 community members attended the first annual Career Technical Education (CTE) Night on May 17 at the Pacific Coast Campus. CTE hosted this free, family-friendly event that included games, activities and demonstrations featuring Long Beach City College’s CTE programs.

LONG BEACH COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT CELEBRATESTHE LARGEST GRADUATING CLASS IN HISTORY
More than 3,000 students to make up the class of 2019. It was the largest graduating classes in LBCC history this year with more than 2,200 students who are candidates for Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees, and more than 800 students who are candidates for Certificates of Achievement.

Long Beach City College Classified Staff enjoyed the annual appreciation lunch at the Liberal Arts Campus, hosted by the Personnel Commission.
PUENTE CELEBRATES
THE END OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR
Twenty two Puentistas completed the LBCC Puente Program project successfully in Spring 2019 and received their Puente Program Certificates of Completion at the End of the Year Banquet on May 21.
