Administrative & Business Services
Administrative & Business Services facilitates the efficient and effective utilization of college resources to further the goal of student success and the educational mission of the college. We work proactively with all college constituents to aid in the implementation of the Strategic Plan and to integrate our professional expertise in the areas of Fiscal Services, Facilities, Instructional & Information Technology Services and Business Support Services to design and implement working solutions to operational and academic challenges. Our services meet students, faculty, staff and community members’ needs and enable their goal attainment in a constantly changing environment.
The Budget Advisory Committee, Facilities Advisory Committee, and Citizens’ Oversight Committee fall under the auspices of Administrative Services. The Budget Advisory Committee and the Facilities Advisory Committee are both participative governance committees stemming from the campus’ College Planning Committee. The Citizens’ Oversight Committee is formed under the guidelines of Proposition 39 and contains members of the community with oversight responsibility of the District’s general obligation bond funds.
Through integrity and consistent dedication, Business Support Services shall protect and support the Long Beach Community College District by utilizing methods and best practices that enable the District to understand, prioritize and control risks that impact the well-being of the District, its students, employees, and community. Our efforts serve all areas of the College in support of the overall mission of the District which focuses on student success.

The mission of Fiscal Services, comprised of Accounting, Accounts Payable, Systems Analysis, Payroll/Benefits, Bursar’s Office, Budgeting, and Internal Audit, is to ensure that all resources of LBCCD are managed and accounted for in an effective manner. Utilizing the highest standards, all financial records are presented in a timely, accurate and meaningful format in support of the college’s educational master plan for the advancement of Student Success and Community & Workforce Development.
