TRIO SSS
Project Launch & GO Project
The LBCC TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Programs—Project Launch and the Growth and Opportunities (GO) Project—are federally funded initiatives supported by the U.S. Department of Education. These programs are designed to uplift and support students throughout their college journey by empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals through individualized guidance and access to resources.
Together, both programs offer comprehensive TRIO services, including academic and transfer counseling; assistance with college transfer and scholarship applications; university campus visits; tutoring; educational enrichment activities and field trips; study and life skills workshops; career and life counseling; financial education; and more. These services collectively advance the TRIO SSS mission of increasing student persistence, degree completion, and successful transfer to four-year universities.
